Carter Family Holiday Photo Session

The lovely Carters have let me take their holiday photos and some more of Dylan's first photos. It was just a few weeks ago when I was joining them in the hospital taking pictures of Dylan's first 48 hours of life. And here we are, it's almost the holidays! It was quite the day with some hiccups and not everything went as planned, but you couldn't tell from the photos. I always enjoy taking their photos for them and glad I did another session with them to treasure their memories.

Dylan's First 48 Hours Photo Session

Baby number two of the Carter family has arrived, and he is precious! HIs wonderful parents trusted me to take their Dylan's first 48 hours of being born photos. I am very lucky they did because this was my first time shooting this type of photo session, and I have to say, I am very proud of this set. It also helps that Megan and Chris make the cutest kids and family. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I do!

Easter Weekend in D.C.

This year we spent easter weekend in D.C. visit Belén's Aunt Stephanie. It was a very cold weekend, but we had a nice time indoors decorating eggs, eating great food and being around some of the best people I know. Below are some of favorite photos of Belén, Adam and Aunt Stephanie dying eggs.

The photos were taken with a Nikon D750 and a NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8G ED lens. I edited them in Lightroom and used the Porta 400N preset.

Belén's First Paint Photos

Since my little girl is getting older, I decided it was time for her to try out her first craft, painting. But since I know she has a tendency to still put things in her mouth, I decided to research edible paint recipes. The paint is made from a mix of flour, water and food coloring. She had such a blast, but using the paint brushes lasted for about 10 seconds before she started dipping her hands into the paint and using them on the canvas. Glad we had a beautiful day outside, things sure got messy. And don't worry, nobody was harmed eating the paint!

The photos were taken with a Nikon D750 and a NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8G ED lens. I edited them in Lightroom and used a mix of the Mastin Labs Porta 160N preset + Porta 400N preset. Below are some of my favorite photos, I hope you enjoy!
