And here it is, months later after the fact! I took these photos this past October, and this was the first photo shoot I have done since January and before Belén arrived. I was approached by a coworker of Ashley's last year because her company wanted to gift her an engagement photo shoot. The day finally came, which took place at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. This session was very challenging for two specific reasons - you cannot use flash photography in the museum and the large crowds of people. But we were very lucky on many shots! Many people were very accommodating, they would notice us shooting and would pause to let us take the picture. Below are some of my favorites from the engagement photo session. The first one is my favorite because I love how Ashley and Alex are embracing each other similarly to the couples dancing in the mural are embracing each other. And this shot happened by luck!
The photos were taken with a Nikon D750 and a mix of the NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8G ED and NIKKOR 85mm f/1.4G lenses. I edited them in Lightroom and used a mix of the Mastin Labs Porta 400N Preset and Color Efex Pro 4 skin softener. I hope you enjoy!
